My 2022 Wish List

Normally I keep my wish list private but this year, I decided to go ahead and post it. By sharing, I hope you can better understand the way I approach shopping. I love beautiful things but it is important that I am intentional with my purchases. I want high-quality items, that add to my life, are nice to look at, and aren’t outlandishly priced.

When putting this wish list together, I decided to separate the items by season. This will make it easier for me to shop and will help me to make sure I have what I need when I need it. For each item on the list, I have already sourced a few options. If I end up purchasing an item, I will share it with you over on Instagram and YouTube. Follow me on either of those platforms if you want to see more exclusive content that you won’t find here.

Yearly Wish List

During the winter months, I like to stay cozy by wearing comfy clothes when working from home. It makes work more enjoyable and it keeps me from cranking up the heater. To make my loungewear look more elevated, I’d like to have a matching set. In my wish list collage, I included a set that I really love but sadly is not available in a size that would fit. Finding cute, high-quality loungewear in plus sizes is a real challenge.

Inspiration: Naked Cashmere, Nap Loungewear

Options: Girlfriend Collective Hoodie, Girlfriend Collective Jogger,

Living in the PNW, I really need a pair of waterproof boots. I need some that are comfy and fit my slightly wide foot, while not looking like a moon boot. I purchased a pair of Sorel boots this year, but they are just a bit too narrow at the toe. They went back so the hunt is still on.

Options: LLBean Boots, Sperry

This spring I am looking to embrace the leather trend by picking up a pair of faux leather shorts. Paired with a cute top in spring, I’d get a pretty feminine look. They could also be paired with Converse sneakers and a tee for a more casual outfit. Since this is a trend piece, I want to stick to a budget-friendly option. I’ll either grab something from Target or stalk Poshmark for a good deal.

Inspiration: Zara Shorts

Options: Target Faux Leather Shorts

I’ve been wanting a cute pair of sneakers to wear with dresses and shorts. I want a pair that will compliment a feminine look but won’t hurt my feet. I have very high arches and my feet are just a bit wide at the toe. Naturally, that means, 90% of the shoes I try don’t fit quite right. I love the look of Veja’s but I can’t quite get myself to add them to my cart.

Inspiration: Veja Trainers

Options: Nike Air Force 1 ’07, Adidas Stan Smith Sneaker

I’ve already booked our family vacation at a secluded little resort with a pool. For going to the pool, I want to pick up a nice swimsuit cover. I know white would be cooler, but I love the look of a black suit and cover. I am looking for something long and dress-like, but with a light airiness.

Inspiration: Elan Wrap

Options: Target Swim Cover-Up

Living in the Pacific Northwest requires owning a large amount of outwear. You’ll need at least two options for every season. Currently, I am looking for the perfect trench coat to wear when I want to look a bit more put together. I haven’t decided on which length I want or which color, but I am leaning toward black or gray.

Inspiration: Burberry Trench

Options: London Fog, London Fog Maxi

My closet is full of dresses that I would love to wear during the cooler months. But finding tights that are a good quality and come in my size can be a challenge. Then I heard about Sheertex. They are a bit on the expensive side but they are supposed to be the best. I used to be all about the opaque tights but I am leaning toward picking up a pair that are more sheer.

Options: Classic Sheer Tight, Super Sheer
