What To Buy During Sephora’s Sale

This is the first year that I actually qualified for the VIB. Which really means, I’ve spent way too much money at Sephora. My makeup and skincare collection has exploded in the last year but I can always add a thing or two to my collection.

I plan on making sure I am stocked on my staples like primer, foundation, and powder. If you know you are going to use them, why not save on your purchase?

Too Faced The Hangover Primer: If you have a sensitivity to silicone, you wont be able to use most primers on the market. Check out this primer that is silicone free.

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer: Suffer from redness or have issues with texture? Try this primer.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation: If you want a long wearing  and high coverage foundation that feels like you are wearing almost nothing at all, this is the foundation to chose.

Tarte Water Foundation: If you have oily skin and want to try a water based foundation this is a great option.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder: A top rated setting powder and the one in my cart.

Sometimes I get a little nervous to try something that I haven’t heard a lot about. I get equally nervous about trying brand new products that everyone else loves because I’m really picky.  But with the sale and with Sephora’s return policy now is the time to take some risks.

Anastasia Beverly Hills EyeshadowIf you are looking to try new eyeshadows, you have to try a palette from ABH. The colors are beautiful and the apply so nicely. If you like warm tones try the Modern Renaissance. If you love nude eye looks go with Soft Glam. If you love pinks and purples, go with the new Norvina palette.

Natasha Denona All Over Glow Face & Body Shimmer:  Want to look like a shimmering goddess for your holiday parties? Dust this on your shoulders and collar bones.

Marc Jacobs Hydrating Lipgloss Stick: If you haven’t tried a Marc Jacobs lip product then you are missing out. The colors and quality are amazing. Plus for a high end brand their prices are reasonable. Don’t want a gloss try the liquid lip or the lipstick.

Hourglass Cosmetics: If you are wanting to try a new brand, you should check out Hourglass. Everyone raves about their blushes and bronzers.

I love to get gift sets for myself because it can be a great way to try  a lot of new products.  Also sometimes they are a really great value. Of course you could actually give your gift set as a gift.

Drunk Elephant The Littles: Everybody and their mother has been talking about this skincare brand. This gift set will let you try their most popular products without having to spend a fortune.

Sephora Favorites Nude Lips: Who doesn’t need this? At this price you can’t pass this up. Plus you will be set on nude lip colors for the year.

Too Faced Set: This box set has primer, mascara, bronzer, and a lip paint making it a really well rounded gift for teenager that is just starting to get into makeup.

This is where I am going to get honest. I’m having a fling with makeup but my true love is skincare. Invest in your skin and you will find yourself looking beautiful even without the full coverage foundation.

Dr. Brandt Skincare Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator: Keep dry flaky skin at bay with this hard working exfoliator. A little goes a long way making it well worth the price.

Sunday Riley Good Genes All In One Lactic Acid Treatment: If you have sensitive skin lactic acid is a better alternative to glycolic as it is less harsh.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum: I highly recommend this product for all skin types but especially if you have sensitive skin and find vitamin c serums too harsh.

belif Aqua Bomb Sleep Mask: During the winter you are likely to need a touch more hydration, even if you have some oiliness in your skin. This sleep mask will hydrate without feeling greasy.

Lancome Energie de Vie The Illuminating & Purifying Exfoliating Mask: This mask exfoliates and hydrates the skin in under 5 minutes. This mask is seriously so good. I love it.

One of the things I have been lucky to have it nice hair. I work really hard to keep it that way and I only use the best hair products. While Ulta has more selection in the hair department, there are some great hair products at Sephora too.

Living Proof Restore Perfecting Spray: I have tried a lot of leave in conditioners. This one so far is the absolute best at leaving my fine hair tangle free without leaving it greasy.

Briogeo Don’t Despair Deep Conditioning Hair Cap System: I always use a cap when I do a mask. This cap however is loaded with extra goodies that leave your hair incredibly soft.

Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo: If you get buildup, you need this product. Use it once a week to remove all of the left over dry shampoo.
