I’ve been reaching for Tower 28 a lot lately, and for good reason. The brand has this way of making makeup and skincare feel fun, fresh, and still really practical. Over time, I’ve tried several of their products, from the cult-favorite SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray to their tinted sunscreen that doubles as a foundation. In this post, I want to share my honest thoughts on what I’ve loved, what’s worked well for me, and who I think might enjoy these products too.

SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray
Before trying Tower 28’s SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray, I had never even heard of hypochlorous acid. It sounded like something out of a science class, not a skincare routine. But as someone with sensitive, redness-prone skin, I was curious enough to give it a try.
I started with the mini bottle and was instantly impressed. My redness calmed down, and even my usual breakouts seemed to stay away. For my combination skin, this spray quickly became one of those products I reached for every single day.
Even though hypochlorous acid feels like the latest buzzword in beauty, it has actually been around for a while. You can even find generic versions in the wound care aisle at the drugstore for a much lower price. The Tower 28 spray is wonderful, but these days I stick with the drugstore version to save a little money.
SOS Daily Skin Barrier Redness Recovery Moisturizer
After falling in love with the SOS Facial Spray, I had high hopes for Tower 28’s Daily Skin Barrier Redness Recovery Moisturizer. My skin barrier is always in need of a little extra care, but I was nervous this would feel too heavy. Thankfully, it turned out to be the complete opposite.
The texture is soft and lightweight, and it sinks in quickly without leaving any stickiness behind. It gives my skin the hydration it needs while keeping irritation at bay, and it feels comfortable enough to use every day. If you love super thick, rich creams, this one might feel too light. But for me and my combination skin, it strikes the perfect balance. I love it so much that I have already repurchased it several times.
SunnyDays SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen Foundation
SunnyDays has quickly become one of my go-to base products. It gives light to medium coverage that evens out redness while still looking natural and skin-like. On days when I want that effortless no-makeup look, this is exactly what I reach for.
What makes it even better is that it is an SPF 30 sunscreen, so I get sun protection and coverage in one step. The formula blends in easily with just my fingers, which makes it perfect for busy mornings. It feels weightless, never cakey, and leaves my skin looking fresh. Out of all the tinted sunscreens I have tried, this one is hands down my favorite.
Swipe All-Over Hydrating Serum Concealer
When Tower 28 launched their Swipe Serum Concealer, I ordered it right away. I had such good luck with other products from the brand that I was excited to see how this one would compare.
Picking a shade was a little tricky. I debated between 2.0 BU (light with neutral cool undertones) and 4.0 DTLA (light with medium cool undertones). I ended up going with 4.0 DTLA. While it looked like a good match when I tested it on my hand, it did not sit quite right under my eyes. I think the lighter shade might have worked better.
As for the formula, it does a nice job of covering redness and blemishes, but under my eyes it leaned more natural-to-matte than luminous. I tend to prefer something a little creamier and more brightening in that area, so this was not a perfect match for me.
MakeWaves Lengthening + Volumizing Mascara
I love trying new mascaras, and Tower 28’s MakeWaves was no exception. It gives my lashes noticeable length and just the right amount of volume, enough to feel polished without looking overdone.
The formula is lightweight and comfortable on my eyes with no clumping or crunchiness. It also removes easily at the end of the day, which I always appreciate. I liked it so much that I repurchased it, and I also love that it comes in both brown and black.
BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream Blush
I was a little hesitant to try the BeachPlease Lip and Cheek Cream Blush at first. I worried it might feel heavy or greasy on my skin. But I am so glad I gave it a chance.
Even though it is designed for both lips and cheeks, I mostly use it as a cream blush. The formula blends beautifully and gives a soft, natural flush that lasts all day. The texture might not be everyone’s favorite, and the pan can get a bit messy, but for me, it is a fun and easy way to add a fresh, sun-kissed glow to my face.
As for shades, I have been reaching for After Hours, a sun-kissed berry, and Office Hours, a sun-kissed mauve. Both give just the right amount of color for a natural, everyday look.
ShineOn Lip Jelly Gloss
I have been having so much fun experimenting with Tower 28’s ShineOn Lip Jelly. The formula feels lightweight and hydrating while giving your lips a beautiful shine, which is a combo I always love in a gloss.
I have tried both the glossy and milky shades, and while I enjoy both, I tend to reach for the milky shades more often. They give just the right amount of shine and have softer, more neutral tones that feel effortless. My favorite is Sesame, a semi-sheer, milky mauve that I keep going back to. The formula is smooth, comfortable, and moisturizing, making it a gloss I actually want to wear every day. I would definitely recommend trying a few shades to see which one feels like your go-to.
LipSoftie™ Hydrating Tinted Lip Treatment Balm
Over the last year, a lot of brands have released lip balms in a squeeze tube like this one, and it can be hard for a product to stand out. Tower 28’s LipSoftie Hydrating Tinted Lip Treatment Balm does a great job with the formulation. It is designed for sensitive, irritated lips and delivers instant relief and long-lasting hydration. The balm leaves lips soft and smooth and is non-sticky and fragrance-free.
Out of the eight shades, I went with Ube Vanilla, a sheer burgundy. I do wish the applicator allowed for more precise application, but overall it is a hydrating and soothing option that I enjoy using.
Final Thoughts on Tower 28 Beauty
Overall, my experience with Tower 28 has been really positive. The brand has won me over with products that are both fun and gentle enough for sensitive skin. I am excited to see what they come out with next.
Out of all the products I’ve tried, four have really become staples in my routine: the Daily Skin Barrier Redness Recovery Moisturizer, the SunnyDays Tinted Sunscreen, the ShineOn Lip Jelly, and the MakeWaves Mascara. These are the ones I keep reaching for, and I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
