In case you missed it, this month’s theme is comfy-cozy. Which is really just perfect for this family filled month. Here are 5 things to do this November that will warm the body and the soul.

Pull out all the comfy clothes.
Now that the cooler weather is making its way across the United States, we can finally pull all the sweaters, cardigans, and scarves out of storage. This is a great opportunity to make sure your comfy clothes still fit and are in good shape. If your closet is lacking in comfy, you could always consider picking up a sweater or two.

Get some mood lighting.
Winter is the perfect time to dust off the candles. There is just something so lovely about snow, candles, and candlelight. Plus candlelight is so very hygge.

Do a test of that new recipe.
We love mixing things up on Thanksgiving but trying out new side dishes. Of course, you don’t want to make a side for your friends and family on for it to flop. Test that new recipe before the big day.

Invite some new.
Isn’t it lovely to have a group of friends and family to spend time with during the holiday? Why not let someone else experience that feeling as well? If you can, I encourage you to invite some new to your Friendsgiving. I remember moving across the country where I didn’t know a soul and an invitation to Friendsgiving would have meant the world to me. Your invitation could mean the world to somebody too.

Practice gratitude daily.
We all have so blessings in our lives and sometimes we get so caught up in the minutia of life that we forget about them. During the holidays we are reminded that we should be grateful but we really should be practicing gratitude every day. If you are not practicing gratitude daily, now is the perfect time to start.
