September Lifestyle Favorites

As I’ve mentioned, September is a crazy time for everyone. My husband gets really busy with work during this time of year. It always creates chaos with the boys when Dad isn’t able to be around as much. On top of that, my oldest started going to pre-school part-time. And to add a curve ball, my youngest’s nap gets cut short on school days now. With all of that going on plus important things going on with my work, I didn’t try too many new things. I did, however, gain a new appreciation for things that are already in my life.

I can’t remember if I mentioned it before, but I love to rewatch shows from my past. Last month, I rewatched Friends. I remember liking the show and I still do. I would say I’ve gained some perspective on life since the last time I watched it. It did make me miss being young and free. It also made me realize Ross was the worst.

Since the weather has been cooler, I’ve  rotated out my summer nail polishes out and  replaced them with my favorite fall and winter shades. I’ve been wearing OPI MY Private Jet for the last month and a half. It’s hard to find in stores, so if you want to pick some up, you’ll need to get it on Amazon.

In August, I picked up a Biore face wash made with baking soda. Since I bought it and wanted to use it, I didn’t buy a replacement of the one I was using all summer. Well that was a sad day because I missed my good face wash. While I didn’t technically use my Burts Bees Face Wash during the month of September, I did realize just how much I loved it.

During September, I also realized how much I love leggings and cardigans. Those of you that are longtime card holders to the leggings are life club are probably going “duh.” But I am new to the club, I was team Blair for the longest. Plus this body is not made for leggings. But if I pair my Old Navy leggings with a long comfy cardigan,  I am car line ready. Just throw my hair in a messy bun, slip on my Toms, and done. Oh and I’ve quite carrying a purse. I just grab this Coach Double Zip. It fits my cards, my keys, and phone.
