After trying MERIT for the first time in 2021, I have slowly been buying every product the brand offers. Now that I have tried everything they currently offer, I am doing a comprehensive MERIT Beauty review.
For this review, I will be sharing my thoughts on each MERIT product.
If you prefer to watch a video instead of reading, I have included my YouTube video for your viewing pleasure.

MERIT Beauty Brand Review
The Great Skin Serum is a lightweight, bi-phase serum that hydrates the skin and preps it for makeup application.
I found that I got the best results with this product, when I used it at the end of my skincare routine, right before applying makeup. I also only put it on the areas of my face that need added moisture.
The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick is a foundation and concealer in one. The stick gives light to medium coverage and a natural finish to the skin.
While stick foundations are not my favorite, I was quite impressed with this one. Just make sure to prep your skin well before applying.
Bronze Balm Sheer Bronzer is exactly as the name describes. It is a sheer bronzer with a slippy balm texture.
I really enjoy this bronzer because there is no way to mess it up. It goes on sheer and it blends easily, so you never look like you have overdone it.
The Flush Balm Cream Blush is a cream tint that melts into the skin for lit-from-within color.
The Merit cream blush is one of my all-time favorite blush formulas. I love that it gives the most subtle wash of color to the skin. All of the shades are pretty, but I highly recommend Cheeky.
Day Glow Highlighting Balm is a highlighter that gives a dewy sheen to the skin without any glitter.
I’ve been raving about the highlighting balm since I first tried it. I love that it is super easy to apply, doesn’t have glitter, and comes in multiple shades.
The Merit Clean Lash Mascara tints, lengthens, and lifts lashes, with no smudging.
If you like natural-looking lashes, you will like this mascara. It gives your lashes just a bit of oomph, while also conditioning them. Those of you that love a dramatic lash, might want to skip this one.
Brow 1980 is a volumizing pomade that adds color and volume for fluffy arches.
I don’t usually use brow pomades. If I do my brows I reach for a pencil. However, I have to admit this product is growing on me. It gives just a small amount of color to the brows without leaving them crunchy.
The Signature Lip is a hydrating, buildable lipstick with a soft satin finish.
This is another product from Merit that I love. I have two shades: Baby and L’Avenue. I like that I can get a variety of pigment levels from this product. Blot it on for sheer color or layer it for more color payoff.
The Merit Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil is a tinted lip oil infused with rosehip oil and shea butter.
I’m going to sound like a broken record, but this is another product that I love. I currently own two colors and would love to add more to my collection. I love that they are sheer but not too sheer.
Overall, I really enjoy MERIT Beauty. Why do I love their products so much? Because I love the minimalist makeup aesthetic that is at the core of the brand.
If minimalist makeup isn’t your thing, I still think there are MERIT products that you should try. I’d highly recommend the Day Glow Highlighting Balm, Signature Lip, and Shade Slick to anyone and everyone.
Because I enjoyed this brand so much, I will be watching MERIT as they grow and evolve. I can’t wait to see what they release next.
