Lace-trimmed camisoles work the same way. I love them layered under chunky sweaters or even worn under a t-shirt with just a hint of lace showing at the neckline. They can also stand on their own with a pair of tailored trousers when you want something simple but elevated.
Lace trim mini skirts or silk shorts feel most modern when styled simply. A black t-shirt, pointed-toe ballet flats, or kitten heels keep the look grounded and wearable.
And if you do want to lean into the drama a bit, lace-trimmed dresses paired with a faux fur coat in the colder months feel incredibly glamorous. It is very old Hollywood, slightly over the top, and perfect for nights when you want to go all out.
