One of my absolute favorite things to do, is to give people gifts. I love finding that perfect little thing that will make their face light up. This year I have decided to buy everyone on my list, holiday gifts that give back.
For those of you also looking for gifts that give back, I have rounded up a few of my favorites.
If you any kiddos on your list, you must check out the dolls and prints at Cuddle+Kind. Not only will the boy or girl on your list get an adorable doll, but each purchase provides meals to children in need. Plus each doll is handmade by artisans in Peru that earn a fair trade income.
Krochet Kids works with women in poverty stricken parts of the world. They empower women to rise out of poverty. You should check out the facts on their “our impact” page. They have some really neat information you should read.
While the shop is full of all sorts of good finds, I am particularly drawn to the Knit Baby Blanket.
If you are looking to treat yourself or any other lady on your list to something luxurious, then The Ethical Silk Company will have what you are looking for. I love that I could treat myself (lets be honest) to something so nice while still giving back.
This shop features jewelry hand carved and woven by Cambodian artisans. Every single piece is absolutely beautiful. Plus 10% of profits are donated to help fight human trafficking in Cambodia.
This necklace is sure to delight anyone that received it.
Parks Project Do you love spending time in nature? Purchases from Parks Project help fund ongoing care of National Parks. Help with the maintenance of 800 miles of trails in Yosemite by buying your guy (or yourself) this tee.
The Tote Project These totes are perfect for carrying belongings or picking up produce at the farmers market. The lovely totes in this shop are sewn in India by women looking to leave the sex trade behind them. Additionally 20% of profits are donated to Two Wings to help survivors of human trafficking.
Wouldn’t this tote just be perfect for bringing home fresh cut flowers?
Hand in Hand Soap works to provide soap and clean water to children in Haiti. For each bar of soap purchased, one bar of soap will be given.
Thanks for checking out my first gift guide for the 2017 holiday season. I encourage you to buy one if not all of your presents from an organization of shop that gives back! Know of more gifts that give back? Share them in the comments bellow.
