Fresh Skin Care Reviews
Editor’s Note: It’s important to remember that beauty products work differently for everyone, and what may not work for one person may work well for another.
Soy Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser
The Soy Hydrating Gentle Cleanser by Fresh Beauty is a highly effective facial cleanser that is gentle on the skin. Formulated with soy proteins, this cleanser deeply cleanses the pores, removes makeup, and softens the skin’s texture while increasing hydration. This soy-enriched formula is also proven to smooth dry lines and soothe visible redness. After rinsing, your skin will feel refreshed and ready for the next steps in your skincare routine.
My review:
The Soy Hydrating Gentle Cleanser by Fresh Beauty is a cult favorite that has gained a loyal following for a reason.
One of the things I love about this cleanser is that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or tight, which is a common issue with many other facial cleansers. Instead, my skin feels soft and hydrated, which is exactly what I’m looking for in a cleanser.
I think this gentle cleanser is perfect for most skin types, but especially for those with sensitive or dry skin.
Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash
The Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash from Fresh Beauty is a daily scrub that effectively exfoliates and cleanses the skin in one simple step. The formula is made with real strawberries and sugar crystals that gently polish the skin, leaving it feeling smooth and refreshed.
My review:
While the product features an enjoyable strawberry fragrance, it is not my top pick from Fresh. One issue that I have encountered with the formula is that it can be quite sticky and messy to use, which can prove to be inconvenient. Additionally, after using the face wash, I often feel the need to rinse my face again to remove any leftover residue.
Sugar Face Polish Exfoliator
The Sugar Face Polish Exfoliator is a unique two-in-one product that can be used as a scrub and mask. Formulated with real brown sugar and strawberry seeds, it gently buffs away rough patches on the skin while also hydrating it. The brown sugar crystals and strawberry seeds dissolve in nourishing oils, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth.
My review:
I have mixed feelings about the Sugar Face Polish Exfoliator. On the one hand, it smells amazing and I love the granules that exfoliate my skin without being too rough. But on the other hand, the product is really thick, which makes it tough to spread and means you have to use a lot of it each time. It also leaves a weird residue on your skin that might be due to the Candelilla Wax in the formula.
Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner
The Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner by Fresh Beauty is a popular alcohol-free toner that offers a triple dose of rose-based ingredients. This toner features toning rose fruit extract, strengthening damask rose extract, and nourishing rose oil, all of which work together to provide deep hydration and improve skin texture. The formula is also infused with real rose petals, adding an extra touch of luxury to the toning experience.
My review:
The Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner is another Fresh Beauty product that I really enjoy using. The toner offers a luxurious experience thanks to the inclusion of real rose petals and a pleasant rose fragrance. Upon application, the toner feels refreshing and soothing on the skin. I appreciate that the formula is deeply hydrating, as it helps to keep my skin soft.
Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence
The Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence by Fresh Beauty is an antioxidant-rich step in your skincare routine that helps to penetrate the skin’s layers and boost the efficacy of subsequent products. The formula features double-fermented kombucha and an advanced metabiotic, which work together to protect and decrease the visible effects of oxidative stress.
My review:
One of the things I appreciate about this essence is how easily it fits into my skincare routine. The thin formula of the essence feels weightless on the skin and absorbs quickly. I’ve noticed that after using it, my skin looks plump and well-hydrated, which is great for achieving a healthy, glowing complexion. Overall, I would recommend this essence to those who are looking for a lightweight, hydrating product to incorporate into their skincare routine.
Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer
The Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer by Fresh Beauty is a lightweight, hydrating moisturizer that provides deep hydration for up to 72 hours, both instantly and over time. It contains a duo of hyaluronic acids that work together to provide multi-level hydration, leaving skin feeling soft and supple. Additionally, the formula features damask rose extract, which strengthens the skin’s barrier and boosts moisture levels.
My review:
Out of all the Fresh products that I’ve tried, I’ve only tested one moisturizer. Overall, I found this moisturizer to be nice with its pleasant rose fragrance. However, with the recent reformulation of this moisturizer, I’ve noticed significant changes. It seems to be finicky and doesn’t work well with other products, causing pilling when layered. Due to this, I can no longer recommend this product.
Black Tea Firming and De-Puffing Eye Cream
Fresh’s Black Tea Firming and De-Puffing Eye Cream is a versatile eye cream that is formulated to reduce the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines around the eyes. The cream contains Fresh’s signature antioxidant black tea complex and noni fruit juice, which work together to revive tired eyes and reduce signs of aging.
My review:
While I had a positive experience with the Black Tea Firming Mask, I encountered some issues with the Black Tea Firming and De-Puffing Eye Cream. Unfortunately, this particular eye cream caused a burning sensation under my eyes. As a result, I experienced redness and developed dry, rough patches that lasted for about a week. I would advise individuals with sensitive skin to avoid this eye cream. For others, it may be wise to exercise caution before using this product.
Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask
The Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask by Fresh is an antioxidant treatment that offers immediate results. The unique formula melts onto the skin, leaving a cooling sensation, and works to reveal a more radiant complexion. It contains Fresh’s black tea complex, hyaluronic acid spheres, and skin-smoothing polysaccharides to moisturize and smooth the skin.
My review:
Among Fresh’s range of face masks, my personal favorite is the Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask. Its refreshing and cooling effect on the skin feels soothing and invigorating. What I love most about it is the fact that it can be effortlessly removed without any harsh scrubbing. After use, my skin feels incredibly soft and plump, making it an indispensable addition to my skincare routine.
Rose Face Mask
Fresh’s Rose Face Mask is a hydrating mask that provides an instant plumping effect while soothing and toning the skin. The gel texture contains real rose petals and is enriched with damask rose extract to improve hydration and leave the skin feeling smooth and supple. This mask also contains rosewater, cucumber extract, and aloe vera gel that work together to cool and calm all skin types.
My review:
I’m a big fan of face masks, especially those that offer a cooling and soothing effect on the skin. So, I was intrigued to try this particular mask, which has a refreshing gel texture. However, I didn’t find the results to be as impressive as I had hoped. I was expecting more hydration from the mask, but unfortunately, it fell a bit short in that department.
Vitamin Nectar Glow Face Mask
The Vitamin Nectar Glow Face Mask by Fresh is a potent face mask that is made with a high percentage of orange, lemon, and clementine paste to give your skin a healthy, radiant look. This mask is infused with fresh’s vitamin fruit complex and effectively exfoliates the skin through the use of both gentle chemical AHAs and a soft scrub from the citrus paste. With regular use, this face mask will help improve your skin’s brightness and glow, while also awakening and energizing dull, tired skin.
My review:
The Vitamin Nectar Glow Face Mask is a close runner-up for me after the Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask from Fresh. The citrusy scent of this mask is delightful and the texture feels great on the skin. However, like the Sugar Face Polish, it is a bit thick and you end up using more product than necessary. Despite this, I find the experience of using this face mask very enjoyable, and I love the radiant, glowing effect it has on my skin. Overall, I highly recommend giving this a try.
Sugar Lip Balm Hydrating Treatment
The Sugar Lip Balm Hydrating Treatment is a nourishing lip balm that provides 24-hour hydration. Powered by sugar from beetroot and sugar cane, this lip balm delivers sheer, buildable color while moisturizing your lips. With its smooth, buttery texture, it glides on effortlessly and leaves your lips feeling soft and supple.
My review:
The Sugar Lip Balm Hydrating Treatment is a super popular lip balm. However, this product is very expensive. Currently, they retail for $25 for one. I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think the Sugar Lip Balm is worth the price tag. There are tons of sheer hydrating lip balms on the market that perform just as well, if not better.
Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm
The Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm is a lip treatment that moisturizes lips upon application and locks in moisture with a blend of sugar and emollient oils. Its rich texture has an appealing scent and provides long-lasting hydration without leaving any sticky residue. The balm coats dry lips to soften and protect against dehydration, resulting in a supple and plump-looking pout.
My review:
I have mixed feelings about lip balms that come in pots as it can be messy and unhygienic. However, the Sugar Hydrating Lip Balm is an exception. The delightful fragrances and the way it feels on the lips make it worth the hassle. I recommend using this balm with freshly washed hands and taking only what you need in one dip.
Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator

The Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator is a go-to lip care product that should not be missed. This lip scrub is made with real brown-sugar crystals and natural humectants that effectively remove flakes and exfoliate the lips. In addition, it is formulated with nourishing shea butter and jojoba oil that leave the lips feeling smooth and moisturized.
My review:
I was pleasantly surprised by the Sugar Lip Polish Exfoliator. Initially, I was hesitant about trying a lip scrub that comes in a pot, but this product exceeded my expectations. I appreciate that the scrub is gentle on the lips while still effectively exfoliating away any flakiness.

Final Thoughts On Fresh Skin Care
I was able to a wide variety of products, but really wish I could try more. I’d really like to try the Crème Ancienne® Ultimate Nourishing Honey Mask or the Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask. Both have great reviews; but like many Fresh products, they are pretty pricey.
I was pleasantly surprised by some of the Fresh skincare products I tested. While I wouldn’t run out and repurchase everything I tried, there are a few products that really stood out.
Of everything I tried from Fresh, these are the products I loved the most:

Next time I read a blog, Hopefully it won’t fail me just as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you would have something useful to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something you can fix if you weren’t too busy seeking attention.
