Right now the clean beauty trend is taking over and we are here for it. This post on clean skincare has been a labor of love. In fact, it took two years of gathering products and testing to put together this list of clean beauty products you need to try.
What is Clean Beauty?
Okay, so this is a bit complicated as there is no set definition of what clean beauty means. Generally, clean beauty products are made without the use of ingredients that are controversial or unsafe. Examples of these ingredients include parabens, synthetic fragrances, certain sulfates, formaldehyde, and Oxybenzone, among others. If you would like to know more about which specific ingredients to avoid or just learn more about the specifics of clean beauty, check out this article from Harper’s Bazaar.
When purchasing clean beauty products to test, we relied on Sephora’s clean beauty seal. You can find all of Sephora’s clean skincare products here.
