It is time for another brand review! For this review, I tried several products from the French, clean beauty brand Caudalie. I will admit that I had already been using several products for a couple of years, this post was a great excuse to try some more of their luxurious products.

In this post, I am going to break the products down by the different lines within Caudalie since they have so many products available. I will share my experience with each of the products I’ve tried, who I think would like the product, and then I’ll share my top 5 picks.

Caudalíe Premier Cru Line

This line packs a ton of power. Not only are the products designed to help with aging but they also help with dullness and uneven texture.

Caudalíe Premier Cru Eye Cream | I’ve been using this eye cream religiously for years. It doesn’t slide off my face but provided the perfect amount of moisture for my dry area around my eyes. If you have normal, combination, or oily skin you will love this eye cream.

Caudalíe Premier Cru The Cream | This product is pricey and so my wallet hates me for saying how much I love this cream. Since my skin can get oily, so I prefer to use this at night. For those with normal to dry skin, you should have no problem using it during the day.

Caudalíe Premier Cru Serum | If you have the budget to pick up the serum, it is a nice addition. Paired with the cream, you will have a very hydrated base. Those with dry or dehydrated skin will see the most benefit from this product.

Full sizes of this line do cost a pretty penny, but you can try them all for around $100 if you purchase the Premier Cru Absolute Anti-Aging Solution set from Sephora. The set is valued at $191 so it really is a great way to try them.

Vinoperfect

Vinoperfect Radiance Serum | If you are looking for smoother and more radiant skin, this is the serum for you. This is another product that I have been using for years. Using it regularly has improved the radiance of my skin and faded my acne scars. This product is great for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Concentrated Brightening Essence | This essence uses a combination of AHAs and BHAs to brighten and hydrate the skin. This product is nice and people of all skin types could enjoy it. I would recommend it more to people that have congested skin.

For the same price as the serum alone, you can grab a set from Sephora containing the serum, a trial of the essence, and a trial of the night cream. That means for the price of the serum you get two products to try for free!

Vinosource

This line is a bit more geared to those with dry or dehydrated skin. Since my skin tends to be more combination, I’ve only tried one product from this line.

Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet |This is a gel-cream moisturizer that hydrates and soothes red skin. While the product claims to be lightweight it is one of the heavier gel-cream moisturizers I have tried. For my combination skin, this product left my face feeling greasy. I would recommend this only to those with normal to dry skin.

Vinopure

Skin Perfecting Serum |This serum is an Allure Beauty Award winner and for good reason. It is an affordable option within the brand for those with acne-prone, combination to oily skin. With natural salicylic acid and niacinamide, this serum will help with congestion and oil production.

There is an entire line of Vinopure products that are best suited for oily to combination skin. For the price of the serum, you can try three other products from the line if you buy the kit.

Overall Thoughts on Caudalie

Going into this review I already knew that I love many of the products from this brand. There are still quite a few more products that I would love to try still. As I try more products from the brand, I’ll update this post.

If I had to pick only three products from the brand, I would buy:

  • I’ve got sensitive skin and I need to up my anti aging, radiance boosting game, do you think Caudalie is the brand for me? I love French skin care and need a complete overhaul. X

    • Hayley,

Caudalie makes lovely products though they are a bit expensive. I’d recommend picking up a small set from Sephora to make sure it agrees with your skin before investing in full-size products. I would highly recommend the Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, especially if you find your skin is too sensitive for stronger acids. Skincare is so personal so I can’t be any more specific without knowing more about your skin issues.
