If there is one thing I love, it is a good neutral eyeshadow palette. A good neutral palette is great for everything from creating subtle non-makeup looks to a glamourous sparkly eye. The versatility of these palettes makes them essential for everyone’s makeup bag.
Because there are tons of options, it can be a bit overwhelming to pick the best palette for your budget. But don’t worry, I’ve done the hard work of trying and testing for you. Here are the best neutral eyeshadow palettes on the market.
Natasha Denona Mini Glam Eyeshadow Palette

Natasha Denona makes some very beautiful eyeshadow palettes, but the price puts them out of reach for most makeup lovers. Thankfully, she has started releasing mini and midi palettes so you can test out the beautiful shadows without the $100+ investment.
This cool-toned palette is truly one of a kind. Instead of shade names, this palette tells you where to apply them. That means anyone can get a beautiful eye look, even beginners.
Previously, I had recommended the regular-sized palette. However, after years of owning the mini and the larger palette, I always reach for the mini. I’d only recommend getting the larger palette if you know you will reach for cool-toned neutrals all the time.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette
Neutral palettes don’t need to be 100% tan and brown eyeshadow shades. This beautiful palette from ABH also includes oranges, mauves, and pinks. The 14 shades in this palette include 9 matte and 5 metallic shades that look amazing on most skin tones.
The Soft Glam Palette looks very colorful at first glance. However, the warm tones blend out to give a soft and natural look. Another thing to love about this palette is its versatility. It is perfect for day-to-day, you can make a smokey eye for the evening, and it’s a go-to for wedding looks.
PS. There is a Mini Soft Glam available at Sephora if you don’t want to pick up the full-sized palette.

PATRICK TA Major Dimension Eyeshadow Palette

While it is one of the most expensive palettes on the list, this palette is worth the splurge if you love warm tones.
Patrick Ta’s formulas are worth the investment. You can make a super glam look with metallic shades and pearl toppers. For every day, you can do very pretty one-and-done looks with the palette as well.

Who doesn’t love e.l.f products? They have a wide range of products at really great prices. This particular palette has a ton of shades and is only $10. Also, the shades on this nude palette run fairly deep, meaning the eyeshadows should show up on a variety of skin tones.

Pat McGrath Labs Mothership VII: Divine Rose
The color story of this palette includes rich rose-infused neutrals, burnished bronzes, and opalescent pinks. All shades are designed to create universally flattering eye looks for every skin tone.
No one makes an eyeshadow palette like Pat McGrath labs. But with exceptional quality, comes a hefty price tag. This beautiful rosey neutral palette currently retails for $128. However, you can grab it for 30% off when Pat McGrath Labs has a sale. (The Fall VIP Sale is going on now. Save 30% on orders over $125)

If You Can Only Pick One Neutral Palette
Five palettes might not be a lot for a blogger, but I know for the average person, you probably only want one neutral palette. If you can only pick one, I recommend picking either the Natasha Denona Mini Glam palette or the ABH Soft Glam. If you like cool tones pick the Natasha Denona and if you love warm shades opt for the ABH Soft Glam.
Now that you know my top five, leave a comment with your favorite neutral eyeshadow palette.
