Here at Feisty Life Media, we try a lot of beauty products. We tried great products, okay products, and really bad products. We’ve done brand reviews and we’ve even endorsed specific products through sponsorships. And while we stand behind any product that we share, there are certain products that rise above the rest. In this post, we will be sharing the top 5 beauty products we tried in 2019.

Let’s just explore what that means exactly. The list is going to contain only the five best products we have tried in 2019. Keep in mind some of these products were not newly released in 2019. Just that we tested them. So now that we’ve made that clear, here’s our list.

top 5 beauty products

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector | This product is listed first because it is hands down our favorite product we tried in 2019. In fact, it has moved into holy grail, must-have status. It’s a go-to item for the days we do a barely-there natural look. But if full coverage is more your jam, this product layers well too.

YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-In-Stick Lipstick | This is one of those products that you treat yourself to. Are there cheaper lip products? Yes. Can you find similar shades elsewhere? Yes. But can you find this product, in these shades, with this scent, that gives you the absolute luxurious feeling of indulgence? No.

Glossier Futuredew | This product hasn’t been released for long and we’ve only been testing if for a couple of weeks, but it is just that good. We love to use it after our skincare routine but before our tinted moisturizer for that glow from within look. PS. Katie Jane Hughes loves this product too.

Sobel Skin RX Niacinamide Gel Serum | Niacinimide is one of those ingredients that just isn’t getting all the hype it deserves. It helps soothe redness, helps hydrate the skin, and minimizes the appearance of pores. We are partial to this serum because it is clean, applies well, and smells pleasant.

Tatcha The Dewy Cream | When this product was first released, our combination skinned editor was apprehensive of all the positive reviews. But when she tested this Tatcha moisturizer for herself, she understood all of the hype. This moisturizer provides the perfect amount of moisture and the right amount of glow without excess grease.

If we look at our top 5 beauty products a little closer, we noticed a couple of trends. First and foremost, all of these products are easy to use. No complicated techniques here. Second, we especially love products that give us a glow from within, dewy, but not greasy look.

Now that you know our top products, leave a comment letting us know which products you loved this year.
