If you want to have a good hair day (and who doesn’t?), you need to be using the right products. I use a wide variety of hair products including scalp treatments, hair masks, and leave in conditioners. Maybe you don’t need to use all of those things, but I’m betting you at least need a good shampoo. I have three different shampoos currently on rotation (an everyday shampoo, a toning shampoo, and a clarifying one). That being said, I have tried a ton and feel confident I can help you find the perfect shampoo for your hair.

For Brunettes

Aveda Clove: This shampoo is formulated with clove to help enhance the warm tones in your brunette hair. It is not a toning shampoo, so it can be used every time you wash your hair.

dpHue Cool Brunette: This blue toning shampoo is perfect for helping reduce brassiness in brunette hair. Unlike most toning shampoos, it is not overly drying. That being said, you will want to limit use of this shampoo to once a week.

For Blondes

Clairol Professional Shimmer Lights Shampoo: Maintaining your blonde can be a lot of work, but it doesn’t have to cost a ton. This is a great budget pick for those wanting to keep their blonde hair bright.

Oribe Bright Blonde Shampoo: If you want to add a bit of luxury to your life and keep your blonde beautiful, you need to check out this shampoo.

For Color Treated Hair

Bumble and Bumble Color Minded Shampoo: If you just want a basic shampoo for color treated hair, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Oribe Shampoo for Beautiful Color: Again, if you are the type that likes to “treat yo self” Oribe is the brand for you.

Add Volume

Christophe Robin Volumizing Paste: This shampoo is a little different. It it comes in a tub and is thick like a paste. However, it gives great volume and it smells amazing (if you like roses).

Living Proof Full Shampoo: If you are looking for a traditional volumizing shampoo, you can’t go wrong with this shampoo.

To Clarify

Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo: If you get super greasy hair or use a ton of dry shampoo, this shampoo will leave your hair super clean. Plus it is a price you cannot beat.

Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo: If you want a clarifying shampoo that is not as intense as the Neutrogena, then you want to pick this one up.

Now that you have the perfect shampoo, you can have a good hair day everyday. If one of these 10 shampoos doesn’t meet your needs, leave me a comment with your hair concerns. I’ll suggest another shampoo that you will love.
